Come discover the north shore of Lake Huron! It’s where you will find the lovely towns of Spanish, Blind River and Thessalon.
Within minutes you can be on big water, or an inland lake, fishing for a variety of species of fish. If dining out is more your style, there’s an abundance of road side chip stands and local restaurants to satisfy your fish and chips, or steak, craving.
Spanish offers a government dock/marina and many campgrounds for the summer. The miles of well-groomed snow mobile trails offer excellent winter recreation as well.
Blind River is a growing community, with a new school being constructed, a hospital, grocery stores and boutique shops.
Thessalon is another small community nestled on the shores of Lake Huron. The Thessalon River is a great spot for kayaking, with sand beaches and playgrounds at the mouth to the big water. The town also has a deep water marina.
Each of these North Shore towns offers a unique setting with access to many services.
